Yellowstone Machinery Affiliate Programme – Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 1 November 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Yellowstone Machinery Affiliate Programme ("Programme"), operated by Yellowstone Machinery Ltd ("Yellowstone Machinery", "we", "us" or "our").
By applying to join or participating in the Programme, you ("Affiliate", "you" or "your") agree to these Terms.
1. Programme Overview
1.1. The Programme allows approved Affiliates to earn commissions by referring customers who make qualifying purchases from Yellowstone Machinery.
1.2. Commission rates, eligible products and applicable rewards are available under "Program Summary" in the Affiliate Dashboard once an application has been approved.
1.3. Participation is free and subject to approval by Yellowstone Machinery.
1.4. Yellowstone Machinery reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend or terminate Affiliate accounts in accordance with these Terms.
1.5. Acceptance into the Programme does not guarantee earnings, sales or continued participation.
2. Affiliate Eligibility and Approval
2.1. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
2.2. The Programme is primarily intended for trade professionals, landscapers, groundworkers, construction professionals and individuals with relevant industry connections. Other applicants may also be considered.
2.3. All applications are reviewed by Yellowstone Machinery. We aim to respond within 48 hours of receipt.
2.4. Yellowstone Machinery may accept or reject applications based on suitability, authenticity, compliance history and legitimate business considerations.
2.5. Affiliates must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date registration information.
2.6. Duplicate, fraudulent or misleading accounts are prohibited.
2.7. We may request reasonable identity, business, tax or payment information to verify an Affiliate's eligibility.
3. Referral Links and Attribution
3.1. Approved Affiliates receive a unique referral link through their Affiliate Dashboard.
3.2. Referrals are tracked through our affiliate management platform, subject to its technical functionality and applicable privacy requirements.
3.3. The standard referral tracking window is 30 days from the relevant referral interaction, unless otherwise specified in the Programme settings.
3.4. A referral generally qualifies when a customer follows an Affiliate's referral link and completes an eligible purchase within the applicable tracking period.
3.5. Affiliates may share general store referral links or product-specific referral links. Commission eligibility is determined by the purchased product, applicable Programme rules and successful referral attribution.
3.6. Commissions are only payable where the referral has been successfully tracked or independently verified and approved by Yellowstone Machinery.
3.7. Yellowstone Machinery may determine attribution where multiple Affiliates claim the same customer, using available referral records, transaction information and other reasonable evidence.
3.8. We cannot guarantee attribution where tracking is prevented by expired cookies, browser restrictions, disabled tracking, incorrect links or other technical limitations outside our reasonable control.
3.9. Purchases completed through telephone, WhatsApp, email or other offline channels will only qualify where Yellowstone Machinery can verify and expressly approve the referral.
3.10. Yellowstone Machinery may correct attribution errors or manually adjust referrals where reasonably necessary.
4. Commission Structure
4.1. Current commission rates, eligible products and reward structures are displayed under "Program Summary" in the Affiliate Dashboard following approval.
4.2. Commission rates may vary depending on the product, promotional arrangement or Affiliate-specific agreement.
4.3. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, a qualifying order generates one applicable referral commission, regardless of the number of eligible units or complimentary accessories included.
4.4. Products not expressly designated as commission-eligible do not generate referral commissions.
4.5. Commissions are only earned on genuine, qualifying and successfully completed sales.
4.6. Website visits, enquiries, quotations, abandoned checkouts and unpaid orders do not generate commissions.
4.7. Self-referrals, purchases made on an Affiliate's behalf or transactions arranged primarily to generate artificial commissions are not eligible.
4.8. Existing customer enquiries, previously negotiated transactions and sales already independently secured by Yellowstone Machinery may be excluded where the Affiliate did not materially introduce the customer.
4.9. Cancelled, refunded, fraudulent or otherwise disqualified orders do not qualify for commission.
4.10. Where an order is partially refunded, amended or otherwise materially changed, commissions may be adjusted or cancelled as appropriate.
4.11. Any special commission arrangements must be confirmed in writing by Yellowstone Machinery.
5. Commission Approval and Payment
5.1. All referral commissions are initially recorded as pending and remain subject to verification and approval.
5.2. Approved commissions are paid directly to the Affiliate's nominated bank account 28 days after the customer's machine has been delivered, provided the order has been fully paid, completed and has not been cancelled, refunded or otherwise disqualified.
5.3. For pre-orders or delayed deliveries, the payment period begins on the confirmed delivery date, not the original purchase date.
5.4. Yellowstone Machinery intends to pay all valid, properly earned commissions in accordance with these Terms.
5.5. Commission payments may be temporarily withheld where reasonable verification, fraud investigations, refund disputes or other compliance checks remain outstanding.
5.6. Payments are made in GBP by bank transfer.
5.7. Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that their bank account and payment information is accurate, complete, current and capable of receiving payments.
5.8. Yellowstone Machinery is not responsible for payment delays, rejected transfers or losses resulting from inaccurate or outdated payment information supplied by an Affiliate, except where caused by our own negligence or error.
5.9. Where payment details are missing or incorrect, commissions may remain on hold until satisfactory details are provided.
5.10. Affiliates are responsible for their own tax declarations, reporting obligations and any applicable National Insurance or VAT requirements.
5.11. Where a commission is paid incorrectly or the underlying transaction is later reversed, Yellowstone Machinery may seek repayment or deduct the overpayment from future commissions, where legally permitted.
6. Fraud Prevention and Commission Withholding
6.1. Yellowstone Machinery operates a zero-tolerance policy towards fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or abusive referral activity.
6.2. Prohibited activity includes, without limitation:

6.3. Yellowstone Machinery reserves the right to investigate, suspend, withhold, reject, reverse or recover commissions where it reasonably believes that fraud, abuse, manipulation, misrepresentation or a material breach of these Terms has occurred.
6.4. We may request additional documentation or supporting evidence before approving commissions.
6.5. Payments may be suspended while a reasonable investigation is undertaken.
6.6. Commission eligibility decisions will be made using available transaction records, tracking information and other relevant evidence, acting reasonably and in good faith.
6.7. Where reasonably practicable, Affiliates will be notified of rejected commissions and given an opportunity to request a review.
6.8. Any disputed commission should be raised within 30 days of the Affiliate receiving notice of the decision.
6.9. Nothing in these Terms permits Yellowstone Machinery to arbitrarily or dishonestly refuse payment of a legitimate, properly earned commission.
7. Affiliate Marketing and Promotional Conduct
7.1. Affiliates must promote Yellowstone Machinery honestly, professionally and in accordance with applicable UK laws, regulations and advertising standards.
7.2. Affiliates must clearly disclose their commercial relationship with Yellowstone Machinery when sharing affiliate links or promotional content, using appropriate disclosures such as #Ad or an equally clear statement.

9. Customer Orders and Relationships
9.1. All customer purchases are made directly with Yellowstone Machinery and are subject to our applicable sales, delivery, warranty and returns policies.

11.4. Following termination, Affiliates must immediately cease using Programme referral links, promotional materials and Yellowstone Machinery branding.
11.5. Legitimate commissions properly earned before termination remain payable under these Terms, unless reasonably disqualified due to fraud, cancellation, refunds or other applicable exclusions.
11.6. No commission is earned for new referral activity following termination.
11.7. Relevant obligations concerning payment, confidentiality, fraud, intellectual property and disputes survive termination.
